We have been asked to share information on this local fundraiser following an update on Facebook, that covered:
“We have some unsettling news.
Our pub company are selling the lease to our lovely pub.
Glynn (the manager) and his wife Wendy would dearly love to buy the lease and run this fantastic community pub, in the heart of Abbey Park, but we need some help.
There is a Go Fund Me page set up for donations, towards buying the lease. The link is here: https://gofund.me/ec6ef603
As they say, “every little helps” so even though times are hard, we would appreciate your help, donating or simply sharing the page to as many people as we can reach!
If we are not successful, all monies raised will be distributed to local charities first, then nationwide ones after that.
