Those passionate actors and support crew from the Nottingham Shakespeare Company, that brought us the special ShakesBeer ale to launch their open air tour of Henry V, have been at it again! Hosted by Castle Rock they’ve had a go at brewing another ale, which will be launched in support of their winter Macbeth tour, which starts on the 19th of February.

From the recent brew day we know that the beer will be a gingerbread porter, and the recipe included chocolate wheat in the unique malt mix and fresh ginger in the hopping stage. As regards what it will be called, there is a social media competition to name the beer and receive 2 free tickets to a performance and also a £25 Castle Rock gift voucher.
