Andrew Ludlow, Branch Secretary of Nottingham CAMRA has also supported the campaign, saying “The Horse & Groom is a rare example of an unspoilt village pub. It is a local village community pub and Nottingham CAMRA are extremely concerned that the owning company would even consider looking at changing the pub. Nowadays increasingly large pub operators look to standardise their estate and create identikit outlets but this is not compatible with a pub in a local conservation area.”
