At this year’s Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival there will be a dedicated stand for CAMRA Learn & Discover support. It will be located in the Barrel & Bean area alongside the Membership team. On every day of the festival we will offer tasting samples on different ales and ciders. The full schedule and timings are still being finalised, however we have allocated Saturday 10th to feature members of the University of Nottingham’s Real Ale & Cider Society.
Thanks to kind support from Lenton Lane Brewery, our Young Members Co-ordinator, Dan Marsh, and members of the Society were involved in brewing a unique beer based around the award winning ale, Pale Moonlight. The ingredients for this version will be discussed at the festival where it can be sampled alongside the original, hopefully providing an interesting experience in flavour comparison.
