All members should have received an e-mail entitled “It’s time to have your say”, which encourages members to vote on key topics to be discussed at the forthcoming AGM and also the election of 3 new members to the National Executive. The e-mail is self-explanatory, with an online VOTE NOW link.
For those members who came to the last Branch Meeting at The Star Inn, Beeston, one of the attendees was Dale, who was invited to provide an update on his “Great British Pub Crawl” activity and also his intention to run for election to the NE. He spoke very passionately about his reasons for doing this and the areas where he felt his experience and knowledge could be beneficial in taking CAMRA forward, which was well received on the night.
Whilst our Branch site has to be seen as impartial, we would encourage all our members to take time to visit one of his social media sites, to review his Hustings statement and video. He is also responding to the general Q&A approach for prospective candidates within Discourse.
