Nottingham Cider Pub of the Year 2026 announced!

Partizan Tavern

Nottingham CAMRA Branch Cider Pub of the Year 2026 results are now in. During January, pubs across the Branch area were nominated by their customers, staff, and local cider drinkers. After that, a panel of judges visited all the nominated pubs, scoring them on a variety of factors including the quality of the ciders, their promotion of real ciders, cleanliness and service, among others.

The results can now be announced.

Winner – Partizan Tavern, Manvers Street, Nottingham
Runner-up – Round RobINN, Main Street, East Leake.

Both these pubs have featured regularly in our Cider Pub of the Year awards over the last few years, as they both always stock a great selection of ciders and perries, and are lovely pubs to visit.

Nottingham CAMRA Cider Officer Heather Stretton said:

“As usual, the standard of the competition was extremely high. Many thanks to all of the nominated pubs for helping to promote real cider and perry in our area and congratulations to our winner and runner-up. We are really lucky to have so many good cider pubs in our branch area and it was particularly pleasing to see perry available in the award-winning pubs, as this is not always easy to find in some pubs.”

The presentation took place at the Partizan Tavern on Saturday 4th April at 6pm.

Partizan Tavern Award

As branch winner, the Partizan Tavern now goes through to the Regional Round where it competes against other branch winners from the East Midlands region.

Tony and Alison Perkins from the Partizan said:

“We, at the Partizan Tavern, are very grateful for the Cider Pub of the Year award from Nottingham CAMRA. It is wonderful to be recognised for the fifth year running, including two winners certifications, since opening in 2021. We like to think we provide, between our BiBs and bottles, a mini Cider and Perry festival throughout the year. Giving the chance to taste not only local real ciders and perries but also those from further away, both well-known and more obscure nano producers.

Thanks to Sneinton Cider, we also recently hosted their first local cider producer get together and we hope this can continue in future. We very much enjoy our trips during the year to source wonderful ciders for your enjoyment and appreciate the customers that enable us to continue to do this.”
